New Listeners



Any person who is registered blind or visually impaired, or who is entitled to be registered, who lives in the London Borough of Ealing, may apply to receive the services of Ealing Talking Newspapers.

Applications must be in writing and must include the applicant's full name and address, including postcode, their telephone number (or a contact number), and a declaration that the applicant is registered blind or visually impaired, together with their registration number. Alternatively, written confirmation by an ophthalmologist, doctor, ophthalmic optician, social worker or similar professional person that they are entitled to be registered will be considered.

No special equipment needed - we use standard audio tape cassettes that can be played on most domestic cassette players but, if the applicant does have access to a cassette player, we will provide one on loan if requested.
